The SOI (School on Internet) Asia Project aims at contributing to the higher development in Asian countries through the utilization of Internet and digital technology, and by fully making use of educational resources and technology of SOI. The current collaborators of SOI Asia platform are many universities from South east asia and USM is one of them. The list of universities can be found here

Prof. Jun Murai [Keio University Japan]
Jun Murai is a Japanese computer scientist, known as “the father of Japan’s Internet”. A professor at Keio University, Murai is the founder of JUNET and president of WIDE Project. Murai graduated from Keio University in 1979 and received a Ph.D. from the same school in 1984.
