Greetings from the Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPS), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)!!

You are cordially invited to join a public forum, entitled ‘Global Economic Turbulence: How Relevant is Postgraduate Education?’

The current global economic turbulence presents an opportunity to assess the relationship between postgraduate education and training provided by universities and a dynamic knowledge based economy, as an enabler for sustainable growth and better job opportunities.

The panelists are economic experts in the nation consists:

  • Dr. Nungsari Ahmad Radhi, Executive Director, Research and Investment Strategy, Khazanah Nasional Berhad
  • Professor Rajah Rasiah, Khazanah Nasional Chair of Regulatory Studies, and Professor of Technology and Innovation Policy, University Malaya
  • Professor Cheah Kooi Guan, Dean, Graduate School, University of Management and Technology

Also, there will be an exhibition and briefing on financial assistance for postgraduate education. Do not miss the opportunity to meet with the representatives from Scholarship Division, Ministry of Higher Education.
